James K. Miller, 84, of Charleston left this earth to be with Jesus December 12, 2009 in CAMC Memorial after a long illness.
Jim was a member of the Hickory Grove Church, Kenna. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He had worked for Libby-Owens-Ford, and he also had owned and operated Route 21 TV repair with his loving wife, Velma.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Velma Miller, and a son, Jimmy Miller.
Left to cherish his memory are children, Terry Smart and his wife, Nora, of Tornado, Charley Smart and his wife, Janet, of Ripley, Brenda Smart of Charleston, and Teresa Sisson and her husband, Tommy of Sissonville; sisters, Margaret Cobb and her husband, Theodore, of Evans, and Katherine Skeen and her husband, Donald, of Kenna; 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be 2pm Friday, December 18 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor Tim Brewer officiating. Entombment will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 6-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
