James E. "Jimmy" Snyder, 68, of Sissonville passed away March 24, 2013. He was born December 16, 1944 to the late Fredrick and Belva Faye Raines Snyder.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Fred Snyder, Jr.; sisters, Eleanor Cole and Geneva Hogan.

Jimmy was a veteran of the US Army, an avid hunter and fisherman and truly loved and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a member of the NRA and was a lifelong supporter of sports in Sissonville.

Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Linda Snyder; son, Chad Snyder and his wife Janette; daughters, Mia Snyder, Sabrina Snyder; sisters, Linda Sue Moore, Alice "Sissy" Molnar, Shirley "Ping" Kelley; grandchildren, Cayd, Kaitlyn, Elli, Bret, Brie; step grandchildren, Lexi, Cassi and a host of friends.

Service will be 2 PM, Thursday, March 28 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.

Friends may call from 6-8 PM Wednesday, March 27 at the funeral home.
