Obituary

Jack Mace, 81, of Charleston died October 4, 2014 in Hubbard Hospice House after a long illness.

Jack retired from McJunkin Corporation and was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church, Sissonville.

He was preceded in death by a wife, Joy Mace; parents, Charlotte and Raymond Mace; and a brother, Bill Mace.

Left to cherish his memory are loving wife, Shirley Mace at home; step-sons, Richard Comer of Atlanta, Georgia and Ed Comer of Kernersville, North Carolina; nephews, Frank and Bill Mace both of Pinch; and a brother-in-law, Clyde Coleman (Boots) of Charleston.

Visitation will be 5-7pm Tuesday, October 7 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville. Also a visitation will begin at 6pm Wednesday, October 8 at the Maranatha Baptist Church, Sissonville with a service following at 7pm with Reverend Bill Bartlett officiating. Burial will be 10am Thursday, October 9 in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Sissonville Public Library, 1 Tinney Lane, Charleston, WV 25312.
