Iva Ester Harrison Moss King, 83, of Kenna went to be with the Lord December 6, 2009 in Oakridge Nursing Center after a long illness.
Iva was preceded in death by her father, William Lafe Harrison; mother, Glady O''Dell Harrison; husbands, John Henry Moss, and Kermit Clark King ; brothers, Floyd, Everett, Junior, and Johnny Harrison; sisters, Evie Tyler, Eva Harrison, Viva Estep, and Betty Harrison; son, William Henry Moss; and daughter, Delores Jane Burdette.
Left to cherish her memory are loving daughters, Karen Sue Moss of Kenna, and Patricia G. Fisher and her companion, Denny Barnhart, of Charleston; step daughters, Brenda Wolfe of Kenna, Delores Stover, and Carolyn King both of Ripley, Connie Parsons of Charleston, and Donna Johnson of Ravenswood; step son, Tim King; brothers, James Harrison of Spicewood, and Edgar Harrison of Bancroft; five grandchildren, fourteen step grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, Joelle Robinson, and numerous great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 11am Wednesday, December 9 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor Al Mendez officiating. Burial will follow in Emma Chapel Cemetery, Liberty.
A gathering of family and friends will be 6-9pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
