Irene Miller Ferguson, 82, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord February 24, 2010 at Hubbard Hospice House.
Irene was a lifelong member of Second Creek Community Church. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, quilting and bingo. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Ferguson; son, Carroll Duane Ferguson; and siblings, Frank and Everett Miller, Ilene Cook, Eva Faye Canter and Ann Miller.
Left to cherish her memory are children, Shenna F. Land of Fort Lauderdale, FL, J.B. Ferguson, Jr. and Teresa Ann Cain both of Sissonville and Tina F. Lagna of Acworth, GA; 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will be 1 pm Saturday, February 27 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor Ken Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.
A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
