Obituary

Mildred Irene Bumgardner, 89, of Sissonville left this world to be with Jesus May 1, 2010.
She was born August 12, 1920 to the late F.R. Fisher and Minnie B. Fisher of Jackson County. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Homer Fisher.
She was employed by Owens Illinois Glass during WWII. She was a 1940 graduate of Ripley High School.
Left to cherish her memory are husband of 63 years, Charles W. "Web" Bumgardner at home; son, Charles A. Bumgardner of Sissonville; daughter, Charlotte Lucas and her husband, Jim, of Apopka, Florida; brothers, Ronald Fisher and his wife, Harriet, of St. Albans, and H.K. "Keith" Fisher of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister, Imogene Gandee of Craigsville; granddaughter, Vanessa Renee Moats; and great-granddaughter, Brittny Nicole Moats of Dunbar.
Web and Charlie would like to thank the employees at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home for the love and support the past six years. They truly are a loving and caring group.
The Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 5 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor Buddy Mairs officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.
A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
