Obituary

Hoyt Wendell Skeen, 81, of Walkerville, WV passed away on March 26, 2014 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Born April 1, 1932 in Charleston, WV; he was the son of the late Hoyt C. Skeen and Phoebe Presley Skeen.

Hoyt served our country during the Korean War in the US Airforce. He was a member of the Mahai Shriners'' in Marathon and Miami, FL, and a Worshipful Master of the Masonic Blue Lodge. Hoyt owned and operated a furniture and mobile home store; and Sissonville Dairy Queen.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Eunice Skeen; three daughters, Linda Hemmings and her husband John, Julie Skeen and her significant other Pete LaBarge, and Melissa Skeen; six grandchildren, April, Tara, Megan, Lindsay, Amy, and Rivers; and four great grandchildren, Sage, Lilly, Tyler, and Morgan.

Graveside services will be at 2:00pm, Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Floral Hills Garden of Memories in Sissonville, WV with Tim Holmes officiating.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. We''ll miss you dad.
