Hilda Elizabeth Haynes, 84, of Hurricane, formerly of Sissonville went to be with the Lord February 15, 2016.

Hilda loved her family, and enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Haynes; parents, James and Lorena Walker Boggess; and a grand-daughter, Stephanie Fitzwater.

Left to cherish her memory are children, Danny Haynes (Diana) of Hurricane, Karen Boggess of Cross Lanes, Keith Haynes of Monongahela, PA, Rodney Haynes (Linda) of St. Albans, John Dennis Haynes (Martha) of St. Albans, Stephen Haynes (Melissa) of Hurricane, and Dwayne Haynes of Culloden; sister, Nina Whittington of Charleston; fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Service will be 11am Thursday, February 18 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Reverend Richard Mallory officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories.

A gathering of family and friends will be 7-9pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
