Herbert Harold Beckett, 81, of Sissonville passed unexpectedly January 24th, 2026 at his home. He was born October 5th 1944, to the late Hugh Beckett and Rebecca Love.

Herbert was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. Herbert worked many years as a clerk for the WV Library Commission.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Shirley A. Smith and two stepdaughters, Julie Horton and Molly Nolte.

It was Herbert's wish to have no funeral service.
