Henry "Roho" Asbury, 74, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2014.

He was born September 15, 1939 in Sissonville, where he spent his entire life on this earth. Henry was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. He retired from Kanawha County School Board after 36 yrs of service.

Henry is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Esther Asbury; an infant son, Henry Asbury, Jr; a sister, Mary Lou Stokes.

Left to cherish his memory is wife of 53 years, Betty Goff Asbury; sons, John (Bonnie) Asbury, James (Teresa) Asbury, Mike (Gail) Asbury; a brother, Jerry Asbury; grandchildren, John Asbury, Jr., Jessica Hayes, Harry Asbury, and Dylan Asbury; step grandchildren, Eric Phillips, Jessica Haynes, Rachel Hogston and Ashley Addair; great grandchildren, Keirrah, Gage, Taylan, and Kashton; step great grandchildren, Destiny, Ryan, Hailey, L''Rae, and Charles; and all of Sissonville.

Friends may call on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 from 6 to 8pm at Long & Fisher Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Naylor officiating.

Interment will immediately follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories.
