Helen Irene Rawlings, 84, of Charleston passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 4, 2014; she is now with her Heavenly Father.

Born April 6, 1930 in Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Donald W. Rawlings and Virginia Mae Fields.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, David and Donald A. Rawlings.

Helen is survived by her three sisters, Evelyn Hill, Roberta Skiles, and Karen Goodall; three brothers, Frederick Rawlings, Carl Rawlings, and Arnold Rawlings. Also, a very special great niece, Elliet Malcomb, whom Helen thought the world of; she was her little princess.

Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Nester officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Entombment will immediately follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories.

Helen was a very special, kind person. She was loved by all that knew her and will be missed.
