Helen L. Boggess, 86, of Kenna went to be with the Lord April 15, 2009 in Hubbard Hospice House.
Helen was a member of Stonelick Community Church, and was a past member of Emma Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Boggess, and brother, Shelby Garnes.
Survived by: Brother, Heber H. Garnes and his wife, Colleen, of Sissonvile; nephews and their spouses, Terry and Leona Garnes, Teddy and Maryann Garnes, and Tracy and Kathy Garnes all of Kenna, Tony and Kenda Garnes of Leesville, LA, Tommy and Nancy Garnes of Ripley, and Timmy and Connie Garnes of Madisonville, LA; nieces, Marsha Price and her husband, Bruce, of Beckley, and Brenda Fisher of Sissonville; and several great nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will be 2pm Friday, April 17, 2009 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville. Burial will follow in Slater Cemetery, Allen''s Fork, Sissonville.
A gathering of family and friends will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
