Hazel A. Thomas, 85, of Romance, Jackson County, went to be with the Lord November 29, 2009 after a long illness.
Hazel had worked for the United States Postal Service as a carrier, and also for Magic Dry Cleaners as a presser. She was also a member of the Goff Advent Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Romey Thomas, and also by all of her siblings.
Survived by: daughter, Shirley Harding of Sissonville; grandchildren, Regina Long and her husband, William, Ricky Harding, and Robin Spencer and her husband, Cam, all of Sissonville; three great grandchildren, Elizabeth Long, Brandon Long, and Jordan Harding; two great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will be 2pm Wednesday, December 3 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Reverend Jerry Bonnett officiating. Burial will follow in Goff Cemetery, Romance.
A gathering of friends and family will be two prior to the service at the funeral home.
