Guy Ray Withrow, 57, of Sissonville passed away November 16, 2007 at home.
Guy was an Army Vietnam Veteran, having received a purple heart. He had worked in the Coal Industry and also for Tru Temper. Guy was an avid hunter, and he especially loved his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelby and Wilma Withrow.
Survived by: Children and their spouses, Shawn and Crista Withrow of Sissonville, and Amy and Chris Dent of Charleston; Companion, Sherri Jenkins of Sissonville; Brothers and their spouses, Shelby and Edna Withrow Jr of Charleston, Larry and Sue Withrow of Charleston, and Glenn and Pam Withrow of Liberty; Grandchildren, Shelby and Jarrett Withrow of Sissonville, and Christopher and Denver Dent of Charleston; Step-grandson, Alex Almond of Charleston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11am Monday, November 19 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Military Honors provided by the Army National Guard Honor Guard, South Charleston. Burial will follow at the Asbury Cemetery, Kelly''s Creek. Friends may call 6-8pm Sunday at the Funeral Home.
