"Gurty" Carolyn Sue Jones Walker, 60, of Charleston, WV, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023 at CAMC General Hospital. She was born on January 7, 1963 in Charleston to the late Ralph Lawrence Tinny and Macy Jane Aliff Tinny.

In addition to her parents, Gurty is preceded in death by her son Richard Allen Jones III.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving life long friend and partner of 11 years "Dubby'' Allen Wayne Walker, daughter Gloria Jane Jones, granddaughter Macy Jones, three sisters Geneva Harding, Mochie and Nancy, two brothers Bembo Tinney and Howard Tinney, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville. Burial will follow in Sissonville Memorial Gardens.
