Glenva S. McNealy, 85, of Charleston passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at home after a long illness. She retired in 1986 after being a cashier for Stone and Thomas for ten years. She was born on September 26, 1922 and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles E. McNealy in 1994. She was also preceded in death by her parents, James and Ella Shafer and siblings Estel Shafer, Gladys Bailey, Marley Shafer and Russell Shafer. She is survived by her loving daughter, Sharon McNealy Wilson and her husband Stan of Charleston, son, James Michael McNealy, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Charlotte, NC, grand daughter, Nikki Wilson of St. Albans, grandson Andrew Michael Wilson of Charleston, two great granddaughters along with five other grand children and three nephews. Service will be 4:00 PM Saturday July 12, 2008 at the Long and Fisher Funeral Home with the Reverend Randy Flanagan officiating. Friends may call an hour before the service. Burial will follow in the Sissonville Memorial Gardens, Sissonville. Long and Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
