Glendon A. Henson, 82, of Sissonville, passed away on August 12, 2015, the day of his 60th wedding anniversary.
He was born September 7, 1932 to the late Glen W. Henson and Bessie Jacobs Henson.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Dolores Brown and brother, Sheldon Henson. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Edna Stuck Henson; sons, Dean A. Henson (Leah), Jerry L. Henson (June), grandkids, Jessica L. Henson, Candice E. Henson, Jennifer N. Miller (Corey), Brooke A. Mays, Dean "Andy" Henson II (Lynn), Nathaniel L. Henson (Laura), Summer D. Drake (Brandon); great grandkids, Reagan Drake, Amelia Henson, Maverick Miller, Beckett Miller; sister Naomi G. Evans; brother, Bernard R. Henson (Joyce) and sister, Vada M. Kepler (Keith), and several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Glendon was a Marine Corps veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was a truck driver, mechanic, and equipment operator, tinkerer extraordinaire; if it was broken, he could fix it (or call mousie). He was a faithful member of Fisher Chapel United Methodist Church for over 50 years.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8pm on Saturday, August 15, 2105 at Fisher Chapel United Methodist Church.
Funeral Service will be at 2pm on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Fisher Chapel United Methodist Church: Middle Fork, Sissonville, WV. Pastor Paul Burke will be officiating.
Interment will be on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Floral Hill Garden of Memories with military rites presented by American Legion Post 61.
