George (Buster) Cruickshank, 93, left this life for his eternal life on Sunday March 18, 2012. He was born December 1, 1918 in Kearneysville, WV
He was preceded in death by his wife Marie, daughter Mary Margaret, and his parents Della and George, Sr.
He was a Charter Member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Pocatalico. There he loved greeting everyone with warmth and love. He leaves behind many friends and loved ones.
He was retired from the US Postal Service in South Charleston
He is survived by sons: Bill and his wife Linda of Allen''s Fork George Jr. and his wife Rebecca of Pocatalico Daughters: Judy Stanley and husband Larry of Clearview Heights Phyllis Clark and her husband John of Crede Dorthy Chapman and her husband John of Winfield Also surviving are 8 grandchildren 9 Great Grandchildren Sister in law Rosalie Fisher and several nieces and nephews
A service honoring Buster''s life will be at 11:00 AM Thursday March 22, 2012 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brad Bennett, Rev. Stephanie Bennett and the Rev. David Peters officiating.
Burial will follow in the Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Friends may visit the family from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church and 1 Hour prior to service time on Thursday.
