Gary Ray Jones passed away on Thursday May 15, 2025. He was born in Charleston on February 18, 1952, to the late Rev. Waldon Marvel Jones and Nora Virginia Fisher.

He survives his wife Judith Ann Jones, sisters Kay Pauley of Sissonville, Patty Ebert (Mike) of Sissonville, Brothers Jerry (Sandy) of Given WV, Bob of Sissonville, Mike (Louis) of Wellsburg, and Tim (Debbie) of Sissonville. Sons Jeremiah (Amanda) of Sissonville, Joshua (Summer O.D) of Sissonville, and Joseph (Allyson) of Sissonville. Grandchildren Evan, Aubrey, Odin, Ronin, and Eleanor Jones of Sissonville.

He was a member of the Carpenters Local for many years, He also retired from Constellium Aluminum. He was a Taxidermist for 32 years. He also attended Sunlight Baptist Church since he was a child.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M - 1:00 P.M. on Monday May 19th at Long and Fisher Funeral Home. Service will start at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery in Sissonville.
