Garry Dan Lanham passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026. He was born on July 12, 1959, to the late James Edwin Lanham and Dorothy Keen Lanham.

Garry dedicated 20 years of his career to West Virginia Spring and Radiator, where he remained a valued employee. He will be remembered by his coworkers and friends throughout the Coalfields for his hard work, kindness, and friendship. Outside of work, Garry enjoyed trout fishing and spending time doing the things he loved.

In addition to his parents, Garry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathy Elaine Dawson Lanham; his brother, Jim Lanham; and his sister, Teresa Reed.

Those left to cherish his memory include his fiancée, Ruth Browning; his three sons, James Carl Lanham, Michael Tyler Lanham, and Matthew Ryan Lanham (Autumn Cain); his two grandchildren, Colton Lanham and Conner Lanham; and many friends and coworkers who will miss him dearly.

Garry will be deeply missed by his family, friends, coworkers, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Funeral services will be held at Long and Fisher Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 1st , 2026, at 1:00pm. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.
