Freda Mae Caldwell, 89, of Pocatalico passed away August 30, 2016 at her sons home in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

Freda was born September 29, 1926 to the late Marion "Jack" Peterson, and Cora Buckland Peterson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Caldwell; sister, Arbutus Harden; and brothers, Fred, Ray, and Harry Peterson.

Left to cherish her memory are loving sons, Jerry Caldwell (Suzi) of Point Pleasant, Larry Caldwell of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and Gary Caldwell (Mary) of Pocatalico; grandchildren, Shana, Jennifer, Lauren, Christina, and Shane; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lydia Peterson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 11am Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico with Pastor Michael Harper officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be 6-9pm Tuesday, September 6 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville.
