Franklin "Danny" Hoffman, 85 of Charleston, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025, at Hospice CAMC Memorial, surrounded by his loving family.

Born to the late Charles ("Coon") and Areitta Hoffman, Danny was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his beloved wife, JoAnna; his daughter, Catherine Robeson (Blaise); his cherished grandchildren, Zachary Robeson and Ava Robeson; his sister, Judy Proctor (Eddie); sisters-in-law Bea Smith, Suzette Ferrell (Gene) and Vickie Robinson (Roger); and brothers-in-law Leo Myers (Cammie) and Steve Myers (Diane).

Danny retired from Yellow Freight Trucking, where he dedicated many years of hard work. In his retirement, he found true joy in spending time with his family, especially during vacations and while watching his grandchildren play sports—his greatest pride and joy.

Danny's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to family will live on in those whose lives he touched.

Services will be held June 2nd at Long and Fisher Funeral Home in Sissonville. Friends may visit at 1pm. Funeral will be at 2pm. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Hospice CAMC Memorial for their compassionate care along with the Rehab floor at CAMC General.  Especially, Colton Faber.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a hospice or charity of your choice in Danny's honor.
