Frances "Big Mom" Wickline, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2007 at her home surrounded by her loving family and hospice nurses Becky Boggs and Charlotte Hanshaw.
Frances was born May 6, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Hobart and Mamie Burgess Wines. She was a homemaker. She will be sadly missed be everyone who knew her.
Preceded in death by: Husband of 66 years, William H. "Bill"; Son, Robert F. Wickline; Grandson, Craig Painter; Sisters, Louise Taylor, Maxine Taylor, and Reva Clark; Brother, Garrett Wines.
She is survived by: Son, William Wayne Wickline and his wife Charlotte; Daughters and their husbands, Carolyn Jean and Basil Bennett, and Mona Jean and Dale Thayer; Granddaughters, Kelly Holeston, Robin McDaniel, Kristi Thayer, Andria Keiser and Emily Wickline; Grandsons, Scott Wickline, Jamie Thayer and Ryan Wickline; Sister, Mary Taylor; Brothers, Dayton, Harold, and Arlage Wines; Great Grandchildren, Lacey Shaffer, Shane Holeston, Eleigh McDaniel, Jolee Keiser, Brittnee Stickles, and Zachary Wickline.
The Family would like to thank her special caregiver, Pansy Reed and the Hospice staff for all the loving care and support.
The Funeral Service will be held 2pm Tuesday, January 16th at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Preacher Walter Means officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville. Friends may call 6-8pm Monday at the Funeral Home.
