Frances Rebecca Shaffer, 50, of Sissonville, passed away on March 8, 2023. Born on September 16, 1972 in Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Susan Hamilton. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Adam and Mary Frances Hamilton. Frances was a loving mother, sister, and friend that would do anything for anybody. She loved her family and her cats. Frances is survived by her son, Kerry Hughes (Jaime Barton); special aunts, Brenda Hamilton and Barbara Hamilton Stone; uncles, Ray Hamilton and Jack Shaffer, step-father, Jim Hager, and numerous friends. Funeral services will be held privately for the family at Long and Fisher Funeral Home in Sissonville. She will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Garden of Memories.
