Frances Holmes Schneider, of Sissonville, entered peacefully into her eternal home with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

2 Timothy 4:7-8  I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:  (8)  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Preceding her in death were her loving husband Bill Schneider, parents, Russell and Macel Holmes; siblings, Orville and Darrell Holmes, Carol Greene, Helen Lanham and Evelyn Briscoe.

Frances had many notable accomplishments, she was Sissonville High School's first homecoming queen, she also retired from Union Carbide Tech Center, where she was and executive secretary, she was in the choir, and charter member of North Hills Baptist Church, but the thing she was most proud of was her family and enjoyed time with them, she was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Vicki Schneider of Charleston; granddaughters, Kristin Schneider and Amber Keller (Caleb) of Charleston, sisters Faye Fisher (Noble), Eunice Jones (Burl), Anna Young (Danny), Diana Allen.

Visitation will be held Friday September 8, 2023, at the North Hills Baptist Church from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service will begin Saturday at 10 am with the Rev. Mike Harper officiating. Burial followed in the Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico.
