Fern Stapleton Teel, 83, of Charleston passed away on June 6, 2021 at Thomas Memorial Hospital with her daughter by her side. She had a loving heart and shared her love by taking care of others. Fern enjoyed cooking, flowers, and the sound of wind chimes. Her daughter treasures the many times Fern would spend fishing with her.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Pamela Stapleton; Companion, David Pugh; grandchildren, Christopher Gunnoe, Nicole LeMasters, Lois Kellerman, and Tierney Cross; great grandchildren, Joshua Gunnoe, Payton LeMasters, Bradley Gunnoe, and eight additional great grandchildren; adopted daughter, Donna Ingram Richardson, and Jennifer Ingram Meadows.

Fern is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Ruby Reveal; daughter, Rita Mathias; sister, Jean Belle; best friend, Aretta Hackney-Ingram.

Graveside services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Donna Ingram Richardson will be officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Long & Fisher Funeral Home.
