Evangeline "Jean" West, 92, of Sissonville passed away December 20, 2006 at CAMC Memorial Hospital.
Jean was a retired school teacher with Kanawha county schools. She was also a member of Humphrey United Methodist Church.
Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband, Davis Mayfield West.
Survived by: Children and their spouses, Patricia and Lawrence Glidewell of Powhatan, VA, Blaine and Donna West of Beavercreek, OH, and Judith and George Montgomery of Aiken, SC; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
The funeral service will be 11am Friday, December 22nd at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with the Rev. James W. Holtsclaw and Rev. Terri Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Stalnaker Cemetery, Glenville where a committal will be conducted at 2:30pm. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
