Eunice Lorraine Haynes, 87, of Sissonville passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 15, 1929 in Guthrie, WV; she was the daughter of the late William Ami Haynes and Hermia Haynes. Eunice enjoyed cooking, sewing and quilting, and most of all spending time with family. She was a member of the Sugar Creek Community Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Virgil Norman Haynes; sisters, Aggie Mae Haynes, Charlotte Pritt, and Ann Smithers; brothers, William "June" Ami Haynes Jr., Ivan "Buck" Haynes, and Bruce Haynes.

Eunice will be missed by her children, Jan Stevens (Bill), Jim Haynes (Debbie), and Becky Haynes; sister, Paulette Evans; brother, Newell "Kunte" Haynes; grandchildren, Kim Older, Jamie George, Chuck Haynes, Amber Haynes, and Timothy Haynes; great grandchildren, Brittni Houck, Brett Houck, Corey Haynes, Jayden Haynes, Nathan Lyttle, and Aaron Geo rge.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at 2pm at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with visitation two hours prior to service. Pastor Donnie Kiser will be officiating.

Burial will immediately follow at Sissonville Memorial Gardens.
