Emily Carol Campbell, 76, of Charleston, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 20, 1938 in Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Edgar Richard Thomas and Christina Jane Beaver Thomas.

Emily was a dedicated Christian; attended Garrison Avenue Freewill Baptist Church and was a prayer warrior. She was a devoted mother and enjoyed flower gardening.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband John Campbell; brother, Bill Thomas; sister, Joyce Bumpus; and granddaughter, Sherri Marie Parker.

Emily is survived by her five children; John W. Taylor, Jr. (Pamela), Ronnie Taylor (Amber), Timothy Scott Taylor
(Darlene), Greg Taylor, and Robin Bumpus (Eddie); four siblings, Frank Thomas, Josephine Canterbury, Carl Thomas, and Donna Humphries; eight grandchildren, Misty Jean Taylor, Jessica Rae Staley, Jennifer Nichole Lively, Christina Lynn Taylor, Shanna Lea Breeden, John Michael Garfin, Blake James Garfin, and Kayla Voutour; and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Friday, March 27, 2015 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service.

Interment will immediately follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories.
