Elsie P. Jones, 84, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord October 6, 2008 after a long battle with Alzheimer''s disease.
She was a Homemaker, a Christian, and attended Sunlight Baptist Church, Sissonville.
Preceded in death by her husband, Obadiah Jones, and a son, Johnny D. Jones; and two sisters.
Survived by: son, Roger L. Jones and his wife Sharon L. of Sissonville; sisters, Mae Parsons of North Charleston, Dorothy Wagner of Dunbar, L. Southall of Charleston, Garnet Riley of Rock Branch, and Mary Snodgrass and Kanawha City; numerous grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be 11am Wednesday, October 8 at the Jones Cemetery, Sissonville with Randy Camp officiating. Visitation will be half an hour prior to the service at the graveside.
