Obituary
Ella Sue Rollins, 78, of Sissonville passed away Friday, October 25, 2013 at home after a long battle with cancer.
Ella was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Otis Lee Rollins; parents, Rossie and Beulah Lewis McClanahan; and "big brother", Ollin McClanahan, whom she admired and looked up to.
Left to cherish her memory are children, Karen Casto and Dale Rollins both of Charleston, Steve Rollins of Sissonville, Betty Sefton of Charleston and Jeff Rollins of Sissonville; sisters, Betty Asbury and Tilly Hurley both of Cross Lanes; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, including her "special nephew" Duane McClanahan.
Graveside service for immediate family and close friends will be 1pm Tuesday, October 29 at Emma Chapel Cemetery, Liberty with Pastor Butch Thompson officiating.
The family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation to Dr. Steven Zekan for his compassion in treating "Sue" like a person, instead of a patient.
