Elizabeth Emogene White, 83, of Kenna passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Hubbard Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.
Born February 22, 1931 in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Delmer Monroe Rhodes and Glada Alice Rhodes.
Elizabeth was a retired principal from Kanawha County Board of Education. She loved to fish, travel, cooking, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Delmer H. White; son, Craig White; and two sisters, Prenny Pierson and Arlene Harrison.
Elizabeth is survived by her three sons, Brent White (Drema), Allan White (Pamela), and Glenn White (Kathy); daughter in law, Donna White; brother in law, Tom Pierson; five grandchildren, Kim Hicks, Vanessa White, Marshall White, Dustin White, and Kristi Kezar; and Ruby Fisher, a special thank you to her life long friend and caregiver.
Visitation will be held from 1-3pm on Friday, September, 19, 2014 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 3pm with Pastor Mike Harper officiating.
