Obituary
Eleanor Hissom, 83, of Sissonville passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. She was an administrative assistant and retiree from Dow Chemical after 25 years. Eleanor enjoyed gardening and mowing her lawn. She was an avid outdoorswoman whom loved camping, fishing, and hunting with her late husband, Ron. Eleanor enjoyed traveling to Lewisburg so much that she bought a house with her late sister, Freda and remodeled it.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ron Hissom; and sisters, Dora Belcher, Freda Wentz, and Frances Lavinder.
Eleanor will be missed by her two nephews, Charles and Bill Lavinder.
