It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edna Pauley Chapman Jones. Born on February 11, 1942, in Charleston, West Virginia, Edna was the daughter of William Pauley and Lelie Walker Pauley.

Edna is survived by her two daughters, Alisa Geoffrion of Brooksville, Florida, and Tarry Wolfe of Phoenix, Arizona.

She was a beloved sister to Maxine Pauley, Sue Gordon, Redith Couture, Jeraldine Pritt, and her brothers William, Arnold, Darrell, and Arthur "Sleepy," all of whom preceded her in death.

Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Matthew Cobb of Brooksville, Florida; Nina Donaldson of Newport Richey, Florida; Jimmy Whitley of Norfolk, Virginia; B. Jay Parsons of Mission Viejo, California; and Alex Parsons of Queen Creek, Arizona. Edna was also blessed with 14 great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.

Edna was employed by the Kmart Corporation for 25 years.

A devoted member of Crossroads Community Church, Edna's faith was a guiding light throughout her life.

Edna's memory will be cherished by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and the love she shared with her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24th at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. before the service.
