Obituary

Doyal Harless "Pip" Mairs, 85 of Sissonville, passed away Thursday March 26, 2015 after a sudden illness.

Pip was a retired diesel mechanic from Lemon Transport, where he worked for many years. He was a member of the Teamster Union Local 175 and Christian Fellowship of Kenna. Pip was a member of the Classic Chevy Club, where he shared a love for classic cars with family and fiends.

He is survived by his wife, Joy Mairs; daughter, Vicky Carnes and her husband Milton Carnes, Jr. of Sissonville; son Doyal Whitt and his wife Cris of Arthurdale, WV; three grandsons who loved him dearly, Cameron Carpenter, Colton Carnes, and Michael Whitt.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8pm on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at noon on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with Rev. George Freshour officiating.

Interment will immediately follow at Sissonville Memorial Gardens.
