Dovie Ercie Mathews' Obituary
Dovie E. Mathews, 86, of Sissonville, went to be with the Lord August 30, 2007 at St. Francis hospital after a long illness.
Dovie was preceded in death by her husband, Oathar "Pud" Mathews; Brothers, Londa, Shearl, and Ross Boggess; Sisters, Georgie Joplin, Millie Sigmon, and Viva Litton.
Survived by: Daughter and her husband, Jane and Nishel "Junior" Slater of Sissonville; Grandsons, Greg, Kirby, and Benjamin Slater, all of Sissonville; and nine great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm Saturday, September 1st at the Boggess Cemetery, Alan''s Fork, Sissonville with the Rev. Stanley Shaffer officiating. Friends may call ½ hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
