Douglas M. Coffman, 75, of Charleston passed away at his home on Friday, March 30, 2018.

He was the son of the late Melton Coffman and Eula Haynes . Doug served our country in the United States Army. He was an active member of the Silas Gospel Tabernacle where he loved to sing solos and in his quintet. Doug was an avid hunter and sports fanatic.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his seven siblings.

Doug was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 53 years, Joyce Coffman; children, Troy Coffman (Missy) and Debbie Coffman Harris (Mike); brother, Larry Haynes; grandchildren, Justin, Adam, Morgan, Chase, Sunni, and Jonathan; six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Thursday, March 5, 2018 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with visitation beginning at noon. Pastor Travis Asbury will be officiating. Internment will immediately follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories.
