Donald "Big Joe" Weathersbee 58, from Bancroft, WV died peacefully in his sleep May 2nd in Jackson, Tennessee. He grew up and graduated from Sissonville High School Class of 1984.

Donald was employed by L.C. Logistics for the past year as a truck driver. He had 30 years of experience behind the wheel of a semi-truck enjoying every mile. Donald also played the drums in several gospel bands.

Preceding Donald in death is his mother F. Ernestine Weathersbee; brother Daniel Campbell; sister Brenda Parsons and stepfather Evin G. Weathersbee

Donald is survived by his father Donald Joe McCallister of Nitro; sisters Melissa (Chet) Parsons of South Charleston, Debbie (Steve) Thomas of Nitro; Donna (Fiancé Timmy) Parsons of Poca, Gail Whittington and Delores Walker of Saint Marys, GA. Donald is also survived by his nieces and nephews Caleb (Christa) Claire and Carly Parsons, Amanda (Jordan) Babbitt, Abigail (Michael) Hughes, Amilee (Maven) Meadows, J.C. Thomas, Ryan Whittington, and Candi Mull.

A graveside service will be 2:00PM Friday, May 9th at Thomas-Milam Cemetery, Fisher Ridge, Kenna, WV with Pastor Jacob Burgess officiating.
