Donald Curtis Bryan, 91, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on March 20, 2015 in Hubbard Hospice House after a short illness.
Donald was a Christian and attended New Testament Community Church. He was a WWII Army Veteran and retired from Union Carbide.
Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy Bryan; daughter, Frances Harrison; grandson, Nathan Bryan; parents, Herbert and Ruby Aliff Bryan; and a brother, Phillip Bryan.
Left to cherish his memory are children, Donald Bryan of Eleanor, Daniel Bryan of Arizona, Linda Witt of Charleston, David Bryan of Saint Albans, Barbara Witt of Poca, Michael Bryan of Sissonville, and Dale Bryan of Charleston; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 2pm Monday, March 23 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor John Henderson officiating and Eulogy by Bobby Craig. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post 61, Clendenin.
A gathering of family and friends will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311.
