Donald went to heaven on November 4, 2025, at home with his wife, Helen, holding his hand. Donald was born on October 7, 1949, to the late Glow and Janice Barnhart.

In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his brother, Carl Barnhart, and his niece, Shannon Barnhart Thornton.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 54 years, Helen Coleman Barnhart; son Donald Stacy Barnhart and his wife Tasha Dillard Barnhart; grandson Caleb Joseph Barnhart; brother Denny Barnhart, sister-in-law Jeanne Barnhart; and his fur baby, Coco; aunts Leoda Faber (Frank), and Rachael Snodgrass (Charles); a host of family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Long and Fisher Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Bonnet officiating. Burial will follow in Sissonville Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held one hour prior.
