Denise Lynn Thompson, 64, of Sissonville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 22, 2018 at CAMC General.

She is preceded in death by her father Herman J. Legg and brother, Keith Legg; grandmother, Hester Newhouse.

Denise will be missed by her husband of 28 years, David M. Thompson; mother, Lillian Legg; nieces, Kelly Newhouse, Kerry Legg, and Heather Newhouse.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Long & Fisher with visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor Bill Bartlett will be officiating. Interment will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Donel Kinnard Veteran''s Memorial Cemetery.
