Delton Eugene "Gene" Anderson, 62, of Charleston went to be with the Lord May 14, 2015 at home.

Gene was the owner/operator of Faith Building and Remodeling Inc. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and riding his motorcycle. He was an active member of the Parsons Chapel Primitive Advent Church.

Preceded in death by parents, Mary Bell and Rudie Oil Anderson; brothers, Herman and Jimmy; and a sister, Ada.

Left to cherish his memory are loving wife, Linda Anderson; son, Bobby Anderson (Jamie); brothers, William and Ronald; sister, Wanda; grandchildren, Scott, Josh, Meryl, Ashley, Hali, Dovlee, Kayla, Hannah and Jenna; great-grandchildren, Emaleigh, Ameretta, Brayden and Jeffery; ten adopted grandchildren; and twenty one nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2pm Saturday, May 23 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor Leroy Conner officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson Family Cemetery, Plum Orchard.

A gathering of family and friends will be 6-9pm Friday, May 22 at the funeral home.
