Delmer Vinton Burdette, Jr., 69, of Charleston passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, October 9, 2020 after an illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, Delmer and Thelma Burdette; siblings, Jerry Burdette, Leo Burdette, Mary Jane Carpenter, Janet Haynes, Mae Shaffer, and Lawrence Burdette.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 48years, Linda Burdette; children, Betsy Absury (Brian), Delmer Burdette, III (Mary), and Tammy Stone; grandchildren, Cody, Melinda, Chelsie, Jesse, Sierra, Kelly, and Faith; great grandchildren, Rayleigh, Remington, and Grey; siblings, Rose Good (Earl), Lorene Newhouse, Dale Burdette, Arnold Burdette (Irene); his loving pet and companion, Daisy.

A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at New Prospect Baptist Church: Legg Fork Rd. Sissonville, WV. Arrangements entrusted to Long & Fisher Funeral Home.
