Delmar Ray Curry, 69, of Evans passed away January 24, 2011 in Hubbard Hopice House after a long illness.
Delmar was a retired welder and plumber. He also was an avid outdoorsman.
Preceded in death by Geneva Cooper.
Left to cherish his memory are his partner and best friend Anita Ashby of Evans; daughters, Laurie Mae of Ohio, Debbie Donohue of Portage, OH; son, Dale Chate of Ohio; step children, Sherry Ashby and Christopher Ashby both of Ohio and Jeff Ashby of WV; brothers, Bernie Curry of WV, Ted and Jackie Curry both of Ohio; 8 grandchildren; and his beloved pet, Sadie.
A memorial service will be at 7pm Wednesday, February 2 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville. Burial will be in the Curry Family Cemetery, Lincoln County at a ater date.
A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
