David L. Fields, 52, of Charleston passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Mark Cart.

Left to cherish his memory is his children, Catharine, Mattie, and Justin; mother, Jessie Fields Berry; father, Ralph Chapman; brothers, Perry Kessell, Hobert Berry, Brian Chapman, Kevin and Tim Chapman; sisters, Pamela Bird, Debbie Berry; his best friend and uncle, Johnnie; a host of nieces and nephews; and his girlfriend, Christina Jacobs.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
