Danetta Kay Cooper, 54, of Charleston passed away September 10, 2006 after a short illness.
Kay was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She graduated from Charleston High School in 1968, and graduated from Morris Harvey.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Monette and Danny F. Woolcock
Survived by: Daughter, Michelle and husband Dana McFarland of Sissonville; Granddaughter, Alexis Danielle McFarland at home; Brothers, Danny Woolcock of Nitro and Craig Woolcock of Charleston; Niece, Molly Woolcock of Morgantown; Nephew, Joe Woolcock of Charleston; Aunt, Gerry Lytle of Tenn.; Uncles, Mike Ghiz of Indiana, and Harvey Ghiz of Hurricane; Fiance, Boyd Elkins of Charleston.
The Funeral Service will be 11am Friday, September 15 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Rev. Buddy Mairs officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville. Friends may call from 7-9pm Thursday at the Funeral Home.
