Daisy Mae Haynes Gamber, 73, of Charleston, WV died unexpectedly Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at her home on Wolf Pen Drive.

Daisy was the daughter of the late John and Esta (Haynes) Haynes. She was raised in Charleston and attended Sissonville High School.

A resident of Charleston, Daisy worked as a Banquet Supervisor for almost 25 years at the Charleston Marriott Town Center. She loved gardening, reading, spending time with her family and friends and loved the outdoors and eating candy!

Those left to cherish her memory are children, Joseph John Gamber, Jr. and his wife Missy of Alaska, Boyd Allen Gamber and his wife Penny of Cross Lanes, Tonya Laurens Gamber Goforth and her husband Gene Jr. of Charlotte, NC, Derek Rodney Gale Gamber and his wife Kim of Charleston; brothers, John "Buck" Haynes, Locke E. "Buddy" Haynes and his wife Loretta, William "Charlie" Haynes and his wife Janice all of Charleston; sister, Marlena Sue "Susan" Parker and her husband Don of Charleston; grandchildren, Alanna Gamber, Joey Gamber, Michael Goforth, Matthew Goforth, Justin Gamber, Sabrina Gamber; great-grand daughters Kira and Kaylie Pilloud, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Joseph John Gamber, Sr.; brothers, Keith Owen Haynes and Orville "Boney" Haynes; sister, Joann Waldorf.

Service will be 11 AM Saturday, April 13 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville.
