Cynthia Derrick Haynes, 50, of St. Albans formerly of Sissonville, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Thomas Memorial Hospital.

Born December 27, 1964 in Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Lester "Dube" Derrick and Lessie Mae Jones Derrick.

Cynthia was a graduate of Sissonville High School and a former employee of City National Bank. She was the owner of Griff''s Bar and Grill.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one sister, Janice Boggess.

Cynthia will be missed by a daughter, Sierra Haynes; a grandson, Rylan Haynes; three sisters, Judy Derrick, Doris " Topsy" Burford, and Donetta Kiser; two brothers, Timothy Derrick and Raymond Toney; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 7pm on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with visitation two hours prior to service.

Inurnment will be private.
