In the wee hours of Thursday, February 25, 2010, Earth lost a wise and generous man and Heaven gained a sweet and gentle soul. Surrounded by those who loved him, Corbon C. Siders Sr., 88, of Kenna passed away at Hubbard Hospice House after a short illness.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Opal; and infant son, "Skipper."
Surviving him are daughters, Linda D. (Steve) Ray of Sissonville and Marlene (Earl Whittington) Fisher of St. Albans; son, Chuck, address unknown; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 1, at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville, conducted by Pastor Wayne Moss. Full military burial will follow.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Long & Fisher Funeral Home.
