Clinton E. Patterson Sr., 83 of Sissonville WV, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 19, 2021. He was born on September 7, 1937 to the late Roy and Estel Patterson. He was retired from Mountaineer Gas after 40 years of service. Clinton enjoyed his grandchildren, the outdoors, bird watching and going on home visitations with his church brothers at Rich Fork Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his wife Joan, brother Curtis Patterson and sister Phyllis Murphy.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Rene Newcomer, and her husband Tom of Indiana PA. Clint Patterson Jr. and his wife Misty of Red House WV; grandchildren Casey and Chase Newcomer, Courtney Shutts, Tyler, Austin and Nicholas Morlachetta. Great-grandchildren Layton and Jack Shutts, Brother-in-law James Patton and his wife Barbara as well as several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rich Fork Baptist Church 4572 Rich Fork Rd., Charleston WV 25312.

Funeral Service will take place on August 22, 2021 at 2 pm. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at Long & Fisher Funeral Home in Sissonville, WV. Pastor David VanHorn, Pastor Darren Persinger and Tracy Joslin will be officiating.
